Since 2013 and over three phases (2013-2016, 2016-2021, and 2021-2024) of the CEDI program, CEDI has supported a total of 23 First Nation – municipal partnerships (35 First Nation communities, 1 Tribal Administration, and 31 municipalities and economic development organizations) to develop capacity and implement long-term joint planning for community economic development and land use, while building respectful and sustainable government-to-government partnerships.
