The Entrepreneur Equity Matching Initiative (EEMI) and the Community Equity Matching Initiative (CEMI) support new or expanding First Nation businesses and communities in BC by providing matching equity through BC Aboriginal Financial Institutions.

First Nations Clean Energy Business Fund

The First Nations Clean Energy Business Fund (FNCEBF) promotes increased Indigenous community participation in the clean energy sector within their asserted traditional territories and treaty areas. The fund provides agreements between the B.C. Government and successful applicants for Capacity funding and Equity funding. It also provides revenue sharing agreements between the B.C. Government and eligible First Nations.

The Vancity Community Partnership Program provides grants up to $10,000 from Vancity’s Shared Success to support initiatives that lead to financial empowerment and address climate justice by removing barriers to economic well-being and opportunity.
