District, Haisla Nation win Economic Reconciliation Award

The District of Kitimat is proud to say that together with Haisla Nation it has won the BC Economic Development Association’s Economic Reconciliation Award (for a community less than 20,000). This award acknowledges the work we’ve done together through the CEDI partnership.
The CEDI program, launched here in March 2022, is a facilitated, collaborative process to address economic development challenges through a respectful, equitable partnership.
